As we age and navigate life independently\, many of us experience a lack of positive\, nurturing touch. This event offers a safe\, respectful space to learn about gentle\, intentional healing practices that support both mind and body. \nWhat to Expect \n\nA warm\, healthy\, welcome with herbal tea\nA brief educational overview of Reiki\nA live demonstration by a certified Reiki practitioner\nTime for reflection and community connection\nAn intimate group setting (limited to 20)\n\nAbout the Practitioner / Presenter \nLinda Poland is a former public school teacher with a lifelong interest in spirituality. Tarot cards were invented in 1400s in Europe as a card game. In the late 1700s\, the 78-card deck grew in popularity in their use for divination. There are thousands of tarot decks beautifully crafted and styled with a variety of illustrations. A tarot reading can provide insights on your current situation\, and present potential outcomes based on choices or decisions you make. \nIn this small-group experience\, Solo Agers are invited to learn a little history of Tarot\, the design and organization of the deck and its 78 cards.
